Guest of a Guest…of a Guest

This week was crazy with events. It’s funny how events in New York come in waves. This week and the week coming up are bringing in a huge wave of events. There are a lot of branded events for the holidays for influencers and important people. Guest of a Guest hosts many of the best parties in the city and they have a full holiday line up coming in this wave.

I was lucky enough to meet a friend through Instagram who was invited to an event hosted by Guest of a Guest for Marie Callendar’s and was nice enough to let me be her guest of a guest for the night. The Dining Room by Marie Callendar’s was a gorgeous space in Soho designed by Jennie Garth, Stacey London and Daphne Oz. The event had a three large rooms, with one large center room set up as a dining room. There was a DJ, a photo booth, and, of course, an open bar. The best part was the gift at the end was a size small (lol) Marie Callendar’s hoodie. I now have my very own crop top Marie Callendar’s hoodie (you know you’re jealous).

The event was bursting at the seams with New York City’s social elite…and then me pretending I was supposed to be there. I did see some familiar faces from the Pandora VIP section two days before. It was a cool look into the lives of the fashion crowd who get to go to events like these every night (literally the dream).

The space was so crowded I only got a few photos of the main dining room. But, I am hoping I have now snuck on to Guest of a Guest’s email list and they accidentally invite me to more events mistaking me for someone important (a girl can dream).
